Team Saah Rise organized an engaging and insightful session on Harassment Laws in Pakistan at Quaid-i-Azam University, bringing together students from the Departments of Anthropology and Gender Studies.
The session provided a safe and open space for dialogue, where students actively shared their thoughts on how harassment affects individuals in academic and social settings. We placed special emphasis on encouraging male participation, recognizing that awareness among men is essential for building safer and more respectful communities.
The female students highly appreciated our efforts, acknowledging the importance of initiating such discussions that empower young people to understand and assert their rights.
The session also highlighted that harassment laws in Pakistan legally recognize and protect all three genders, reinforcing the need for inclusivity and equal protection for all.
